"As has been widely noted, [Rick Ross] sees no problem rhyming a word with itself. His breakthrough hit, “Hustlin’,” from 2006, rhymed “Atlantic” with “Atlantic."

Sasha Frere-Jones, writing “Rick Ross and the Life Style of a Boss” in The New Yorker.
I like the fact that:
1) The New Yorker (note how the article preceding the name of the publication is capped and ital’d in TNYer style) still calls lifestyle “life style.”
2) I like how The New Yorker doesn’t mind using the word “fuck” in an article that requires use of the word “fuck.”
3) I like how Sasha Frere-Jones seems to see a problem with rhyming “Atlantic” with “Atlantic.” Because although on some stylistic level, one has to respect an artist willing to take liberties with his form of choice, on some other level, rhyming “Atlantic” with “Atlantic” is complete bullshit.
4) “Hustlin’” is my 4-year-old son’s favorite song.
